Description

The Vesper is a traditional wool rug in our Navy / Gold colourway. A deep navy field is scattered with stylised flowers, rosettes and curling leaf sprays in gold, rust, sage and soft blue. A slim cream band frames the field, and a broad red border carries a repeating cream motif, with a short fringe at each end. It is machine woven from a blend of wool and polyamide, mostly wool, in a high density weave.

This is a rug for the living room, where its warm reds and deep navy sit comfortably with wooden floors and both modern and classic furniture. We offer it in three sizes. The 120 by 170cm rug suits a smaller sitting room, laid in front of a sofa or before the hearth. The 160 by 235cm size sits well under a coffee table with the front legs of the sofa and chairs resting on it, and the 200 by 285cm rug is generous enough to anchor a whole seating area.
