The Vertical is a 1.83m LED floor lamp built from two slender black metal rods rising from a 110mm-diameter cylindrical base. The integrated 44W LED light source runs along the length of both rods, casting 2600 lumens of warm 3000K light in a 120° beam pattern that washes across walls and ceilings rather than directing light downwards.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces where ambient lighting is needed without multiple ceiling fittings, the Vertical provides background illumination that fills a 4-5m room without harsh shadows or glare. The inline dimmer on the power cable allows brightness adjustment from full 2600lm output down to a low evening setting. The lamp stands freely on the cylindrical base without requiring wall fixing or bolting, making it suitable for rental properties and spaces where permanent wiring is impractical.

The matt black finish on both the rods and the base creates a strong vertical line against lighter walls and works well in monochrome, industrial and contemporary interiors. The two-rod configuration gives the lamp a narrow 110mm footprint, allowing it to fit into corners or beside furniture without occupying floor space. The 4kg weight provides stability on carpets and hard floors without needing additional support. Each rod contains LED strips that are sealed into the housing and cannot be replaced separately — when the LEDs reach end of life the entire lamp requires replacement.

The 120° beam angle means the light spreads horizontally across the room rather than concentrating in one direction, making the Vertical better suited to ambient wash lighting than task lighting. For reading or desk work a separate adjustable lamp would still be needed.
