Description

The Vertical is a three-rod LED floor lamp built around a cylindrical black base measuring 110mm diameter by 1830mm total height. Three slim vertical rods extend from the base, each housing integrated LEDs that combine to deliver 60W power and 3600 lumens of warm 3000K light across a 120° beam angle. An inline floor dimmer on the cable allows stepless brightness control from full output to low ambient glow.

Designed for living rooms, open-plan spaces and reading corners where ceiling fittings are unavailable or undesirable, the Vertical provides high-output ambient lighting from a small floor footprint. The 110mm-diameter base sits comfortably in corners, alongside sofas or behind armchairs without encroaching on circulation space. The three vertical rods distribute light evenly across the room rather than concentrating it in a single downward beam, making the lamp suitable for general room illumination as well as accent lighting against walls.

The matt black finish on the metal frame absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, giving the lamp a defined silhouette against lighter wall tones. At 4.4kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable on carpet or hard floors without needing to be anchored. The integrated LED configuration means no bulb replacements are required during the lamp's service life, and the 60W power consumption at full brightness delivers comparable light output to a traditional 300W halogen uplighter.

How is the lamp dimmed?

An inline dimmer is integrated into the mains cable. The dimmer provides stepless brightness control from full 3600lm output down to a low ambient glow, allowing the light level to be adjusted without a wall-mounted dimmer switch.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

The LEDs are integrated into the lamp structure and are not user-replaceable. The LED system is rated for long-term use and covered under the manufacturer's 3-year warranty.

Is it stable on carpet?

The 110mm-diameter base and 4.4kg weight provide stability on both hard floors and short-to-medium pile carpet. On very thick or shag carpet, positioning the base where it sits more firmly may improve stability.

What room size does it suit?

The 3600lm output and 120° beam angle make the lamp suitable for rooms up to approximately 20-25m² as primary ambient lighting, or larger spaces where it supplements other light sources.
