Description

The Versailles is a vintage style rug in the Black / Blue colourway: a deep anthracite ground covered in a busy floral garden. Slender trees run down the centre, with small birds perched among flowers, leafy sprigs and round fruits in blush pink, peach, soft blue and pale grey. A wavy border of blue fan shaped blooms frames the whole design, and the colours have a gently faded look that gives it a traditional, lived in character. It is digitally printed on 100% polyester, which is how so much fine detail fits into the pattern.

It is at home in a living room or a bedroom. The 122 by 170cm size suits the space in front of an armchair or a small sofa, while the 152 by 230cm and 180 by 270cm sizes are large enough to sit under a sofa and coffee table or beneath the lower half of a bed. The 61 by 230cm runner fits neatly alongside a bed, giving you a strip of the same pattern to step onto first thing in the morning.
