Description

The Versailles is a traditional rug with a vintage look. Its cream ground is filled with a mirrored floral design of trailing leaves, open blooms and small birds in flight. The leaves are a soft, slightly greyed blue, and the flowers and birds pick up gentle touches of dusty pink, so the Beige / Blue colourway reads as light, calm and softly faded. A leafy border in deeper blue frames the centre and gives the pattern a neat, finished edge. It is made entirely of polyester and is digitally printed.

We think it suits a lounge or a bedroom best, where its soft colours sit easily with pale wood floors, cream walls and natural fabrics. It comes in four sizes. The 122 by 170cm rug works well in front of a sofa or at the foot of a bed. The 152 by 230cm and 180 by 270cm sizes are large enough to sit under a sofa and coffee table, or beneath the lower part of a double bed. The 61 by 230cm runner fits neatly alongside a bed.
