Description

The Veridan is a 640mm marble table lamp built around a solid rectangular block of grey marble, overlaid with a geometric brass framework on the front face and lower edge. A slim brushed brass stem rises from the marble block to a rectangular grey PVC shade measuring 400mm long by 200mm wide, finished with a small brass finial. A single E27 lamp socket sits inside the shade.

Designed for console tables, sideboards and bedroom dressing tables, the Veridan suits rooms where a sculptural lamp can sit against a plain wall and read as a piece in its own right. The 400mm shade length means it works well in pairs flanking a console or bed, and the rectangular footprint sits cleanly against linear furniture without overhanging edges. The E27 fitting accepts standard screw-cap bulbs (sold separately), allowing the colour temperature and brightness to be matched to the room.

The marble block is the visual anchor of the lamp, with natural veining that varies between individual pieces. The interlocking brass squares applied to the front of the stone are raised slightly proud of the surface, casting their own shadow lines across the marble when lit. The brass detailing extends to a low plinth at the base and the cap finial above the shade, tying the metalwork together top to bottom. Overall dimensions are 640mm high, 400mm long and 200mm wide.
