Description
The Verano Lavico is a modern abstract rug in grey, with flowing ribbons of cream and soft grey sweeping across a deeper grey ground, rather like veined marble. The pattern runs across the whole rug, so the eye follows the swirls instead of a fixed motif. It is machine woven with two levels of pile: the high pile is 100% polypropylene and the low pile is 100% polyester. That change in height picks out the swirling design, giving it a texture you can see as well as feel, and the pile is soft underfoot.
We see it at home in the living room. The 120 by 170cm size sits neatly in front of a sofa or beneath a coffee table in a smaller lounge, while the 160 by 230cm rug is wide enough for the front feet of a sofa and armchairs to rest on it. The largest, 200 by 290cm, suits a bigger living room or an open plan space, drawing the whole seating area together. Its grey and cream colouring works comfortably with pale upholstery, warm wooden floors and neutral walls.
It is hard wearing, which makes it a sensible choice for the part of the room that takes the most footfall, and it is stain resistant, so everyday spills are less of a worry. Before you choose a size, measure your seating area and allow a strip of floor to show around the edges.

Frequently Asked
What sizes does the Verano Lavico rug come in?
It comes in three rectangular sizes: 120 by 170cm, 160 by 230cm and 200 by 290cm, all in the same grey colourway.
What is the Verano Lavico rug made of?
It is machine woven, with a high pile of 100% polypropylene and a low pile of 100% polyester, which gives the design its two textured levels.
How does this abstract rug feel underfoot?
The pile is soft, and the mix of high and low pile gives the surface a gentle texture that follows the swirling pattern.
Is it practical for a busy living room?
Yes. It is hard wearing and stain resistant, so it copes well with the everyday footfall and spills of a well used living room.
What colours are in the design?
Grey and cream, in flowing, marbled swirls that sit easily alongside neutral furniture, pale upholstery and warm wooden floors.
