The Verano Lavico is a modern abstract rug in grey and cream, with fine gold lines running through it like veins in marble. The design flows in long, swirling waves, light cream drifting over soft greys. It is machine woven with a high and low pile: the raised high pile is all polypropylene and the lower pile all polyester. The two levels give a gentle texture, and the pile is soft underfoot.

It belongs in the living room, where it gives a sofa and chairs a calm centre to gather round.
