Description
The Veradex is a 720mm alabaster table lamp built from two stacked blocks of natural Spanish alabaster, separated by a brushed brass band and set on a brushed brass plinth. A slim brass stem rises from the upper block to support a rectangular white PVC shade, topped with a small brass finial. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately).
Designed for console tables, sideboards, hallway tables and bedside use where a sculptural form is wanted alongside ambient task light, the Veradex measures 400mm long by 200mm wide at the shade. The rectangular shade casts a broad pool of light downward onto the surface below and a softer wash upward, suiting living rooms, entrance halls and primary bedrooms with larger console or bedside furniture.
The two alabaster blocks show natural mineral veining and warm tonal variation that differs from piece to piece, so each Veradex carries its own pattern of markings through the stone. The brushed brass band, stem and base plate provide a warm metallic counterpoint to the cool white of the alabaster and shade, giving the lamp a layered architectural profile rather than a single solid column. The PVC shade keeps the silhouette crisp and helps direct light through the alabaster blocks, which glow gently when the lamp is lit.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Veradex take?
The lamp accepts a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-10W at 2700K-3000K pairs well with the alabaster and gives a soft ambient light suited to living rooms and bedrooms.
Does each lamp look the same?
No. The two stacked blocks are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and markings differ between pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and means each Veradex is visually unique.
Is the Veradex dimmable?
The lamp itself uses a standard E27 socket, so dimmability depends on the bulb fitted and any in-line or wall dimmer used. Choose a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer to vary brightness.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the blocks gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, which can stain or damage the stone.
