Description

The Velvet is a compact LED wall spotlight with a 65mm square white powder-coated metal backplate and an adjustable cylindrical head housing a 3W 3000K integrated LED. The head rotates on a ball joint, allowing the beam to be directed at walls, artwork, shelving or reading positions from a fixed mounting point. A small tactile switch on the backplate controls on/off.

Designed for bedside reading positions, gallery walls, hallway accent lighting and task zones in home offices or kitchens, the Velvet provides directed warm white light without requiring overhead ceiling fittings. The 85mm projection from the wall gives clearance over headboards, shelving edges and wall-hung furniture. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior rooms only — not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use or damp zones.

The white powder-coated finish on the metal body matches standard white emulsion walls and pairs cleanly with Scandinavian, minimalist and contemporary interiors. The joint mechanism allows approximately 180 degrees of vertical tilt and 90 degrees of horizontal rotation, giving flexibility to reposition the beam without re-mounting the fitting. The 3W LED output at 3000K provides focused task light rather than ambient room illumination.

No. The integrated 3W LED operates at full output when the switch is on and cannot be dimmed with external dimmer controls.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting has no protection against moisture ingress and is only suitable for dry interior rooms. For bathroom use, look for fittings with IP44 or IP65 ratings.

How much light does the 3W LED provide?

The 3W output at 3000K provides focused task light suitable for bedside reading, highlighting artwork or illuminating a small desk area. It is not designed to light an entire room — use multiple fittings for broader coverage.
