Description

The Velour is a 700mm table lamp built around a tapered cone-form stem in brushed nickel that rises from a cylindrical white marble section, finished with a 350mm white PVC drum shade. The marble lower section sits on a circular brushed nickel plinth, giving the lamp a stacked silhouette of disc, marble cylinder, metal cone and drum shade. A single E27 lamp holder is concealed inside the upper assembly.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallway console tables, the Velour suits surfaces around 400mm deep or wider so the 350mm shade clears the front edge of the table. Pair on either side of a sofa for symmetrical lamp lighting, or use singly on a hallway console. The E27 socket accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately), letting you set the brightness and colour temperature to match the room.

The marble lower section shows soft grey veining against an off-white ground, with each piece varying slightly because the stone is natural. The brushed nickel finish on the stem and base plate has a low-sheen, cool-toned reflectivity that pairs well with grey, navy and white interiors as well as warmer schemes that need a contrasting metal accent. The cone tapers from roughly the diameter of the marble cylinder at its base to a narrow point beneath the shade fitting, drawing the eye upward along the lamp's vertical line.
