Description
The Veloria Small is a 550mm tiered chandelier built from carved natural Spanish alabaster petals suspended on a brushed brass frame. Slim teardrop-shaped alabaster pieces hang in concentric layers around a central column, narrowing towards the base to form a domed silhouette. Nine E14 lamp sockets sit within the frame (bulbs sold separately), casting light outwards through the stone so each petal glows with its own veining and tonal shifts.
At 550mm in diameter and 430mm in height, the Veloria Small suits dining tables, entrance halls, master bedrooms and lounge corners in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or more. The 1000mm cable allows the chandelier to be hung 700-800mm above a dining table or set higher as a sculptural centrepiece in a hallway. The brushed brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses, and the chain length can be adjusted on installation to suit lower or higher ceilings.
Each alabaster petal is cut from natural Spanish stone, so colour, veining and translucency vary across the chandelier and between individual fittings. The solid copper frame, finished in brushed brass, gives the piece structural weight without the cool tone of chrome or nickel. Layered in tiers, the petals create overlapping shadows when lit and read as a sculptural form when unlit, working in both contemporary minimal interiors and warmer transitional schemes.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Veloria take?
The chandelier accepts nine E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most buyers fit warm-white LED candle or golf-ball bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K to bring out the natural tones in the alabaster.
What ceiling height is required?
The supplied 1000mm cable allows the chandelier to hang at a typical 700-800mm above a dining table in rooms with 2.4m ceilings or higher. The chain can be shortened during installation for lower ceilings, or retained at full length to feature the chandelier as a centrepiece in halls and double-height spaces.
Will the alabaster petals look the same as the photograph?
The petals are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so each piece shows different veining, mineral patterning and translucency. The overall silhouette and tone match the photograph, but individual petals will vary — this is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.
How is the chandelier cleaned?
Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Dust the alabaster petals with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners on the stone, as alabaster is porous. The brushed brass frame can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth and dried immediately.
