Description

The Vellum is a 490mm marble table lamp built around a stacked column of black and white veined stone, framed on two sides by a brass-finished metal surround. A slim brass stem rises from the top of the stone body to a rectangular white fabric shade, while a stepped brass plinth supports the column at the base. An E27 lamp socket sits concealed inside the shade assembly (bulb sold separately).

Designed for sideboards, console tables, hallway tables and bedside positions where a defined rectilinear silhouette is wanted, the Vellum suits rooms styled around contemporary, art deco or hotel-influenced interiors. The 400mm length and 200mm depth give the lamp a compact footprint on most console tables, while the 490mm height places the shade at a comfortable level for ambient light beside a sofa or above a low cabinet.

The marble column is cut and stacked so that a band of paler grey-and-white veining runs horizontally across the centre of the otherwise black stone, giving each lamp a distinct geometric pattern that varies between pieces.
