Description

The Vandalia is a chain-suspended outdoor pendant light combining a 356mm spherical seeded glass globe with a black metal cage frame and three internal E14 bulb positions. The cage frame uses vertical ribs that curve around the glass, with a top ring and base cap in matching black metalwork. The seeded glass texture scatters light from the three candle-style bulbs (sold separately) while the cage ribs cast shadow lines onto nearby walls and ceilings.

Designed for covered outdoor locations such as front porches, rear patios, covered walkways and entry canopies, the Vandalia carries an IP44 rating for protection against solid objects over 1mm and water spray from any direction. The pendant is not rated for fully exposed locations without overhead cover. The chain allows drop adjustment between 583mm minimum and 2442mm maximum on installation, making it suitable for standard porch ceilings between 2.4m and 3.5m high. The 356mm globe diameter suits entryways and porch widths of 1.5m or more without overwhelming narrower passages.

The black powder-coat finish on the metalwork provides corrosion resistance in outdoor environments and pairs with both traditional brick and render facades and more contemporary metal-clad or timber-board exteriors. The seeded glass globe adds a textural quality that distinguishes the Vandalia from clear-glass lantern styles while still allowing the bulb shapes to be visible when lit. The three-light configuration provides enough output for ambient porch lighting when fitted with 25-40W equivalent LED candle bulbs, or brighter functional light with higher-output bulbs up to the 40W maximum per socket.
