Description
The Valere is a compact single pendant light built around a 120mm cylindrical marble shade with bold black and white veining, suspended from a glossy black domed cap and matching black rod and canopy. The shade is open at the base, exposing the E27 lamp holder and allowing direct downlight, while the marble itself catches and reflects warm tones from the bulb across its veined surface.
Designed as a decorative task or accent fitting, the Valere suits clusters above kitchen islands and dining tables, single placement over a bedside or reading corner, and rows along breakfast bars and counters. The 150mm overall height and 120mm diameter keep the pendant visually light, making it usable in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings without dominating the sightline. The black rod can be adjusted on installation to set drop height appropriate to the surface below.
Each marble shade is cut from natural stone, so the pattern of black streaks across the white ground varies between individual pendants — no two shades are identical. The contrast between the polished black dome cap, rod and canopy and the softer matt finish of the marble gives the fitting a modern, graphic profile that pairs with monochrome interiors, warm minimalist schemes and contemporary kitchens. An E27 bulb is required and sold separately.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Valere take?
The pendant uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K works well for highlighting the marble veining and casting warm downlight from the open base.
Does each marble shade look the same?
No. The shade is cut from natural marble, so the pattern, density and contrast of the black veining against the white ground varies between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.
Can the drop be adjusted?
Yes. The black rod and cable can be shortened on installation to set the pendant at the correct drop for the surface below. Above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, the base of the shade typically sits 700-800mm above the worktop.
How is the marble cleaned?
Wipe the shade with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners on the marble surface.
