Description

The Valencia is a 250mm wide outdoor pendant lantern in black die-cast aluminium, suspended on an adjustable chain with a minimum drop of 595mm and maximum drop of 1050mm. The lantern housing holds one E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately) behind clear glass panels set within a six-panel cage frame, and is rated IP54 for protection against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction.

Designed for covered porches, verandas, pergolas and carriage-house doorways, the Valencia provides downward and lateral light distribution through the clear glass panels. The chain suspension allows the pendant to be set at the correct height during installation depending on ceiling height and headroom clearance — typical installations position the base of the lantern 2000-2200mm above ground level to avoid head strikes while providing adequate illumination. The black powder-coated finish sits flat against the die-cast aluminium, reducing surface reflection.

The 250mm width and 330mm lantern height give the Valencia a compact footprint suited to single-door entrances and smaller porch areas without overwhelming the space. Die-cast aluminium construction means the fitting weighs approximately 1.8kg, requiring secure ceiling fixing into timber joists or a suitable ceiling rose.
