Description

The Valencia Large is a 730mm outdoor pedestal lantern built from die-cast aluminium with a black powder-coated finish and a six-panel clear glass design. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for gatepost mounting, pathway pillars, patio perimeters and entrance porches exposed to rain. The single E27 fitting accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for residential driveways, garden entrances, low boundary walls and stepped pathways, the Valencia provides directed light downward from the 730mm height while the clear glass panels allow some lateral spread. The traditional lantern form with its hexagonal cross-section and pointed finial references Victorian and Edwardian street lighting, pairing comfortably with period properties and cottage-style gardens. The flat square base (320mm wide) mounts onto masonry pillars or timber posts via a central fixing point.

The die-cast aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and urban environments without additional treatment beyond the factory powder coat. The black finish hides minor surface marks from weathering and pairs neutrally with brick, stone, painted render and timber cladding.
