Unter den Linden 61cm Bollard Light E27 - Black IP54

The Unter den Linden is a 61cm bollard light with a square-section black aluminium post and three horizontal louvred diffuser bands positioned across the upper third of the column. Each diffuser band is recessed into the post body and allows light to escape horizontally while shielding the E27 bulb from direct view, reducing glare on pathways and driveways. The bollard takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W, sold separately.

Designed for pathway lighting, driveway edges, garden borders and patio perimeters, the bollard stands at ground level with a square base plate that can be fixed to concrete, paving slabs or hard-packed gravel using through-bolts or anchor fixings. What bulb does it take?

The bollard takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for pathway lighting, or a daylight-white bulb at 4000K for security applications.

Can it be used in coastal or wet climates?

Yes. The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes from any direction, and the aluminium construction resists corrosion in exposed positions including coastal gardens and areas with high rainfall.

How is it fixed to the ground?

The square base plate has pre-drilled holes for through-bolts or anchor fixings. The bollard can be fixed to concrete, paving slabs or hard-packed gravel. Installation requires a qualified electrician to run mains cabling to the bollard position and connect the supply.

What spacing is recommended between bollards?

For pathway lighting, spacing bollards 3-5 metres apart creates overlapping pools of light without excessive brightness. For driveway edges or perimeter security lighting, closer spacing of 2-3 metres may be needed depending on the bulb wattage and light output chosen.
