Our Ultra Tape gaffa tape is a straightforward, hard-wearing cloth tape made for everyday jobs on stage, on set and around the workshop. Each roll measures 48mm wide and 50m long, giving you plenty of length for taping down cables, marking floors and securing kit. The 35 mesh backing holds together well under tension while still tearing cleanly by hand, so you can work quickly without reaching for scissors or a knife.

The medium strength adhesive grips firmly to most surfaces but lifts away without leaving heavy residue when you take it up again. That balance makes it a sensible choice for temporary rigging, gaffer work and general repairs where you need a reliable hold but don't want damage or sticky marks left behind. The backing is also water resistant, so a bit of spilled liquid or a damp floor won't loosen the bond straight away.

This roll comes in silver, one of three colours in the range, which makes it easy to colour-code tasks or blend in against grey flooring and metal. Gaffa tape (sometimes called gaffer tape in the US) is a staple in AV, lighting and event settings, and this one is thin at 13 microns so it sits flat and stays discreet.
