Our Twisted Ribbon Waves 3D wall panels bring a sense of movement to a plain wall. Each white PVC panel carries six smooth raised ribbons running horizontally across its full width. Every ribbon rises and falls in one long, gentle wave, swelling and narrowing as though it were twisting, and finishes in a rounded end at both side edges. Because the ribbons do not wave in step, the flat gaps between them widen and narrow across the panel. The relief is 15mm deep, enough for the rounded ribbons to cast soft shadows that pick out every curve. Each panel is a 50 x 50cm square, and four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many your wall needs.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. Run them across a feature wall behind a sofa, a bed or a reception desk and the horizontal waves lead the eye along the room, which suits a long wall. The pattern changes with the light. When it falls from the side, from a window or a wall light, the shadows deepen along each ribbon and the waves stand out clearly; in soft, even light the wall reads calmer, with quiet ripples. A wall washer or picture light fitted above the panels brings out the relief after dark.

Each panel is made from a 0.8mm sheet. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive on the back of the panel, press it onto the wall and cut panels to fit where the wall ends. Fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean for a neat finish. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. The PVC is waterproof and low maintenance, needing only a wipe with a damp cloth. For styling, pair the panels with warm wood, natural linen and a plant, and keep the furniture in front simple.
