Description

Twilight Animals is a woodland print rug in the Natural colourway, and the closer you look, the more you find. Foxes, owls and hares wander across a soft cream ground among crescent moons, toadstools, ferns, clover leaves, butterflies and tiny stars, all picked out in warm terracotta, gentle ochre and muted sage green. It is a digitally printed rug in 100% polyester, so the design is printed onto the surface rather than woven in, and the whole piece reads as a light, airy scatter of countryside detail.

The two runners suit a hallway or landing, letting the animals trot along the length of the floor: the 61 by 170cm runner for a narrower space and the 76 by 230cm runner for a longer one. The 76 by 150cm size sits nicely beside a bed or in front of a console table, while the 122 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm rugs are large enough to sit under the front of a sofa or the lower half of a bed. Its soft palette is at home with pale wood floors and neutral walls, bringing quiet storybook charm to a bedroom or sitting room.
