Description

Tulip Trellis sets rows of stylised tulips across a deep Midnight blue ground. Each flower has pale blue petals around a soft cream centre and rises from a pair of broad green leaves, and the leaves meet their neighbours to form a neat trellis repeat. A band of pale blue with a cream zigzag finishes each end, giving the rug a crisp, graphic edge. The look is Scandinavian with a mid-century modern feel: simple shapes and a calm palette. The design is digitally printed onto 100% polyester.

We think it suits anyone who loves Scandinavian and mid-century interiors, and it sits happily on pale wood floors or alongside blue and green furnishings. The 61 by 230cm runner is made for a hallway or landing, carrying the tulips along the length of the passage. The 76 by 150cm size works beside a bed or in front of a fireplace, and the 120 by 170cm rug fits in front of a sofa in a smaller living room. For larger rooms, the 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm sizes are big enough to sit under a sofa and coffee table, or under a bed.

It is washable, so spills, crumbs and muddy footprints are less of a worry in a busy household or a well used hallway. The rug contains recycled materials, which is worth knowing if you like to weigh up what goes into your home. Before choosing a size, measure your space and allow a little floor to show around the edges.
