Description

The Tsunami is a 25W integrated LED floor lamp built around a 19mm-wide vertical column in a sand black powder-coated finish, standing 1710mm tall on a 250mm circular base. The main column houses LEDs that emit 1950 lumens at 3000K through a slim acrylic diffuser along the full height of the stem, providing ambient uplight and downlight simultaneously. A separate adjustable reading arm at waist height adds directional task light independently of the main column.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and home offices where both ambient and task lighting are needed from a single footprint, the Tsunami occupies minimal floor space while delivering two distinct light functions. The 250mm base provides stability on carpets and hard floors without requiring fixings. The reading arm pivots and tilts to direct light onto a book, laptop or work surface, while the main column continues to light the room as a whole. The 120° beam angle from the column spreads light across walls and ceiling, avoiding the single-point glare of traditional uplighters.

The sand black finish is a matt powder coat with a fine texture that reduces fingerprints and pairs comfortably with black, charcoal, grey and neutral interiors. At 5.25kg the lamp has enough weight to resist tipping when the reading arm is extended. The integrated LED is not user-replaceable but is rated for 25,000+ hours of use. The lamp is not dimmable and operates on standard 230V mains via a foot switch on the power cable.

The foot switch keeps controls off the column, allowing the 1710mm lamp to stand flush beside seating.

No. The integrated LED operates at full output only and is not compatible with dimmer switches or trailing-edge dimmers. The lamp is controlled via a foot switch on the mains cable.

Can the reading light be used independently?

The Specification table lists one integrated LED unit, suggesting the main column and reading arm share a single LED driver and operate together. Contact us to confirm independent switching if that capability is critical to your installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

At 1710mm tall, the Tsunami suits rooms with standard UK ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. In lower-ceilinged spaces the top of the lamp will sit closer to the ceiling, which can increase the intensity of the uplight effect on the ceiling surface.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The integrated LED is sealed within the column during manufacture. The LED is rated for 25,000+ hours of use, equivalent to approximately 10 years at 7 hours per day. The lamp comes with a 3-year warranty.
