Aluminium gives our Tripod Base Table Lamp 18.6cm its light frame and steady footing, and we have finished it in Brushed Brass so the warm tone catches the light without a harsh shine. The base is a low three-legged wire stand that measures 18.6cm tall and 15.8cm across, weighing just 0.4kg. It is built to hold a shade of your choosing, and the feather shade shown gives you a sense of how the finished piece can look once it is dressed. As a table lamp base, it sits neatly on a side table, a shelf or a bedside surface, keeping its profile low and its lines open.

We supply this as a light stand rather than a complete fitting, so you have the freedom to pair it with a shade that suits your room. It takes an E27 bulb, with an E27 to E27 adapter included, and we recommend a maximum 15W LED, which is not supplied. Choose a warm bulb around 2700K for a soft glow, or something cooler if you prefer a brighter, whiter light for reading. The three splayed legs form a stable tripod that holds firm on any flat indoor surface, and because it weighs so little you can move it from one spot to another with ease.

Assembly takes around 5 minutes, so you will have it ready almost as soon as you unpack it. The stand is made from aluminium in a Brushed Brass finish and carries CE, UKCA, IP2X and UL markings, so you can be confident in how it has been made and tested. This is an indoor fitting, best kept to hallways, living spaces and bedrooms rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
