Description

The Trinidad is a ceiling fan with light in matt black, built around a steel body with four long blades on a short downrod and a round, milky acrylic diffuser set beneath the motor. It measures 122cm across and 32cm high overall, so allow for the sweep of the blades when you choose the spot. The light is an integrated LED of 19W giving 2,300lm, which means one fitting on the ceiling gives you both moving air and proper light. It is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors, in rooms that stay dry.

Because it is rated IP20, it suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and home offices, anywhere dry where the air feels still on a warm day. The matt black finish stands out crisply against a pale ceiling and sits comfortably in modern, industrial and monochrome schemes. Three speeds let you choose between a gentle stir of air on a quiet night and a stronger breeze on a hot afternoon. The remote control comes in the box, so you can change the speed from the sofa or from bed.

The light offers three colour temperatures: 3000K for a warm white in the evening, 4000K for a neutral white and 5000K for a crisp, cool white that suits reading or working. It is not dimmable, so the colour temperature is how you set the mood. The fan is controlled by the remote, and its direction is reversible, so the blades can turn either way as the seasons change. It runs on 220-240V, 50Hz and carries energy class E. Packed, it weighs 9.4KG, so two pairs of hands make lighter work of unpacking it. As a wired-in mains fitting it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
