Description

The Trilogy is a 965mm-wide island pendant light carrying three E27 bulb fittings, each housed in a clear seeded glass shade caged within a brushed nickel frame. The metal framework forms three linked arch structures that connect to a central suspension bar, which hangs from an oval ceiling plate on adjustable chains. Each glass shade measures approximately 254mm deep and sits within a nickel cage formed by curved arms and horizontal struts.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the Trilogy provides task lighting across a 900-1200mm surface length. The drop is adjustable on installation from 628mm to 1884mm, allowing the pendant to be set 750-850mm above a worktop or table surface depending on ceiling height. The three-point light distribution reduces shadowing across the work area compared to single-pendant configurations, while the seeded glass diffuses the bulb glare without blocking too much direct light.

The seeded glass contains small bubbles and striations trapped in the molten glass during manufacture, giving each shade a textured appearance that catches light differently depending on viewing angle. The brushed nickel finish on the metalwork is a satin-sheen surface treatment applied to the steel frame, softer than polished chrome but reflective enough to pick up ambient light from the room. The combined metal frame and three glass shades give the fitting a presence of approximately 5kg once assembled, requiring secure ceiling fixing into a joist or ceiling rose rated for the weight.
