Description

Our Trelbette Glass pendant light hangs three globe shades of copper-coloured vaporised glass in a line from a long black steel bar, each on its own slim black cord. The glass has a mirror-like sheen, so every globe reflects the room while unlit and glows warmly once the bulbs are lit. The fitting is 125.5cm long, 24.5cm wide and 150cm in overall height, and it takes three E27 bulbs of up to 40W each, which are not included. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

A linear pendant suits a long surface, so we would hang it above a dining table, a kitchen island or a breakfast bar, where three shades in a row follow the length of the space instead of crowding the light into a single point. The black bar and cords draw a crisp line against a pale ceiling, while the copper-coloured glass brings warmth to dark wood, deep green walls or soft neutral schemes. It also works well in an open-plan room, marking out the dining area without the need for a wall. The bulb choice is yours, as long as each one is an E27 bulb of no more than 40W.

The body is steel finished in black, and steel is a strong, rigid metal that holds its shape well.
