Description
This is our Trees Christmas doormat in the Green colourway, machine tufted and made entirely of coir, the coarse natural fibre of the coconut husk, which gives it a warm natural ground and a bristly look. Four Christmas trees in shades of green stand across the top, each drawn differently, from one dotted with white to one tall and feathery. Each wears a small dark red star, white dots fall like snow, and Merry Christmas runs beneath in a flowing black script.
A Christmas doormat belongs just inside the front door, greeting everyone who comes in from the cold and giving them somewhere to wipe their feet. It sits equally happily in a hallway or at the foot of the stairs. It comes in one size, 45 by 75cm, which lies neatly in front of a single door without crowding the floor. The natural coir and green trees look at home on wooden floors or tiles, so it suits a family house and a small flat alike.
We suggest keeping it indoors, just inside the door, rather than out on the step. It is not washable. As it comes in a single size, measure the floor inside your door before you choose it, leaving room for the door to open freely over the mat. Lay it so the script reads the right way up for anyone coming in, and once the decorations come down, put it away somewhere dry, ready for next December.

Frequently Asked
What size is this Christmas doormat?
It comes in one size only, 45 by 75cm, which lies neatly just inside a front door or in a hallway.
What is the doormat made of?
It is made entirely of coir, the natural fibre of the coconut husk, and it is machine tufted, giving it a bristly, brush-like surface.
What colours are in the design?
Four trees in shades of green with small dark red stars, white snow dots and Merry Christmas in black script, all on a natural coir ground.
Can I put this doormat outside the front door?
We suggest keeping it indoors, just inside the front door or in a hallway, rather than out on the step.
How does a coir doormat feel underfoot?
Coir is a coarse natural fibre, so the surface feels firm and bristly rather than soft, just as you would want from a mat for wiping your feet.
