Description

The Tree is a 7-light branching suspension fitting built around an asymmetric matt black metal frame with seven smoked grey glass globes set on staggered arms. Each globe houses an E27 bulb fitting (sold separately) and the irregular branching form gives the piece a sculptural, off-centre profile rather than the symmetrical layout of a traditional chandelier.

At 180cm wide and 46cm tall, the Tree is sized for larger rooms with generous ceiling heights — extended dining tables, open-plan kitchen-diners, double-height entrance halls and loft-style living spaces. The drop rod can be set during installation to position the globes 700-900mm above a dining surface, and the wide horizontal spread distributes light across a long table without the concentrated hotspot of a single central pendant.

The smoked glass globes soften the visible filament when paired with E27 vintage filament bulbs, giving a warmer, more diffused glow than clear glass would. The matt black metalwork is finished with a low-sheen powder coat that absorbs reflections and reads as a graphic black line against pale ceilings. The asymmetric branch geometry means the fitting looks different from each viewing angle, which suits open-plan rooms where the light is seen from multiple sides.

The Tree takes seven E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Vintage-style filament LEDs in warm white (2200K-2700K) work well with the smoked glass globes and emphasise the industrial branching form.

At 180cm wide, the fitting is intended for larger rooms — dining tables of 200cm or longer, open-plan kitchen-diners, and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or more. It is too wide for a typical 4-seat dining table or a standard 2.4m living room.

Can the drop length be adjusted?

Yes. The vertical drop rod is set during installation, allowing the globes to sit at a height appropriate to the ceiling and the surface beneath. Above a dining table, 700-900mm clearance from the table to the lowest globe is typical.

Is the fitting dimmable?

Dimmability depends on the bulbs fitted. Pair with dimmable E27 LED filament bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer for smooth control. Standard non-dimmable LEDs will not dim regardless of the dimmer used.
