Description
In our view, a good cabinet earns its place by quietly organising the room around it, and our Treasures 3-door Dark Oak Cabinet does exactly that. Standing 150cm wide and just 75cm tall, it settles low against a wall and gives a living room, hallway or bedroom a clear line to build around. The Sugar Brown finish carries a warm, softly grounded tone that we like alongside the Dark Oak, and the curved upholstered end panels round off the shape so it never feels boxy. Set a lamp base and a few books along the top, and it becomes the steady centre of a room without asking for much attention.
The three solid oak sliding doors are the heart of how this piece works. Rather than swinging out into the room, they glide side to side, which we find useful in tighter spots where a hinged door would get in the way. Behind them you get concealed shelf storage for the everyday clutter you would rather keep out of sight. The cabinet rests on four round tapered legs, lifting it off the floor so the whole thing reads as light despite its length. It weighs 47kg and measures 43cm deep, shallow enough to sit neatly under a window or along a hallway without crowding the walkway.
Each internal shelf takes an evenly distributed 15kg, and the top surface holds up to 50kg spread across it, giving you room for a lamp, a plant or a small tray. Assembly takes around 40 minutes and we include a video to walk you through it.
