Description
At 109cm wide and just 75cm tall, our Treasures cabinet keeps a low, steady profile that suits a wall beneath a mirror or a run below the window without crowding the room. The depth of 43cm gives you a genuinely usable top surface while staying slim enough for a hallway, and we like how the four round tapered legs lift the whole piece off the floor to keep things feeling open. In our Sterling shade, this is a quiet, grey-toned finish that settles easily into a scheme rather than fighting it for attention.
The two sliding doors are made from solid oak in a Black Oak finish, and we chose sliding rather than hinged so you never have to leave clearance in front for the doors to swing. Behind them there is shelved storage rated to a maximum of 15kg per shelf, which comfortably takes books, glassware or folded linens when the weight is spread evenly. The curved upholstered end panels are finished in faux leather, softening the corners and giving the cabinet a rounder, gentler shape than a plain box.
The top holds up to 50kg when the load is evenly distributed, so it happily carries a table lamp base, a stack of trays or a couple of framed prints leaning against the wall. It weighs 36kg assembled, and we reckon on around 40 minutes to put it together, with an assembly video on hand if you want us to walk you through it. If you want considered, understated storage that earns its place year after year, we think this cabinet gives you exactly that.
