Description

The Trailblazer is a portable table lamp cast in aluminium and finished in a soft ceramic cream. It has a rounded, compact form that sits happily on a table, shelf or windowsill, with a shade that stays part of the piece rather than a separate fitting. The shade is included in the price, and the LED lamp is supplied too, so there is nothing further to buy before you switch it on.

You control the lamp with a switch on the top of the shade, and it holds a dimmer setting memory so it returns to your chosen brightness each time. It measures 110mm in diameter and 280mm in height, and weighs 0.69kg, which keeps it easy to lift and move. The single LED runs at a maximum of 3W, giving 200 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature. It charges with the supplied USB Type-C cable, so no mains socket is needed once topped up. Rated IP65 and built to Electrical Class 3, it copes with both interior and exterior use.

This lamp suits a bedside, a desk, a reading corner or a dining table, and its weather rating means it works just as well on a patio table, a balcony or beside an outdoor seating area. Because it is cordless in use, you can carry it from room to room or take it outside as the light fades.
