Description

The Trackway Small is a 90mm round drive over recessed ground light, rated to carry vehicles up to 5,000kg, with a grey high-performance resin body and an IP67 rating. It takes a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) behind a clear diffuser and sits flush with paving, tarmac, decking or resin-bound surfaces.

It suits driveway edges, parking areas, garage approaches, paths and patio borders, where it marks the route at ground level and can be driven over by cars. The IP67 rating means it is dust-tight and protected against immersion, so it can be fitted where water pools or paving is pressure-washed.

The resin body resists corrosion, fertilisers and UV fading, and copes with temperatures from -60°C to +90°C. A recessing sleeve is supplied for installation, which should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Yes. It is rated for vehicle traffic up to 5,000kg, so cars can drive and park over it when it is installed flush on a stable sub-base following the fitting instructions.

What GU10 bulb should I use?

An outdoor-rated LED GU10 of around 5 to 7W suits most paths and driveways. Choose a dimmable bulb if you plan to dim it. Bulbs are sold separately.

A qualified electrician, in line with BS 7671, particularly for mains-voltage outdoor installations.
