Description

The Knightsbridge Track In-Line Connector joins two single circuit track sections in the TRKSPxx series, providing mechanical alignment and continuous electrical contact through copper conductor plates housed in a polycarbonate body. The connector measures 80mm long by 35mm wide with an 18mm projection from the track face once installed.

Used in track lighting installations where the track run needs to continue across a joint or corner, the connector fits into the end profile of both track sections and locks the alignment to prevent gaps or movement. The internal copper plates maintain live, neutral and earth connections across the join, allowing power to flow uninterrupted from the feed point through the connector to the next track section and on to the spotlights mounted downstream.

The matt black polycarbonate finish matches Knightsbridge black track sections, making the connector recede into the run rather than stand out as a visible joint. The IP20 rating suits dry interior environments including retail spaces, galleries, home offices and residential kitchens where track lighting provides flexible accent or task lighting. Class I construction requires the track system to be earthed.

Frequently Asked

What track systems is this compatible with?

This connector is designed for Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series single circuit track. It will not fit other brands or two-circuit track systems. Check the track model code before ordering to confirm compatibility.

How is it installed?

The connector slides into the end profile of both track sections being joined. The copper contact plates inside make electrical connection automatically when the tracks are pushed together. The connector is then secured using the two fixing screws visible in the product image.

Can it be used to create corners?

No. This is an in-line connector for joining straight runs of track end-to-end. For corners or T-junctions, use the appropriate corner or T-connector from the TRKSPxx range.

What finish options are available?

Knightsbridge produces this connector in white and black to match the track finish options in the TRKSPxx series. Use the search function to find the white variant if needed.
