Description

This Toy Story mug and coaster set brings a cheerful Christmas feel to the breakfast table, pairing a blue porcelain mug with a matching round coaster. The mug has a gently tapered shape, wider at the base, with a bright red handle and a red interior that shows with every sip. On the front, Woody and Buzz Lightyear wrestle with a string of Christmas lights beside one of the little green aliens, with the words ALWAYS MERRY AND BRIGHT printed in lime green capitals. The back is left in plain blue. It holds 250ml and measures 9cm tall, 13cm wide and 8.5cm deep.

The coaster carries a snow globe design: three of the aliens gather round a Christmas tree, one of them caught up in its lights, against a scatter of red and blue stars, with a festive greeting of love, joy and peace printed across the base of the globe. A wavy blue panel edged in green sits inside a red border, picking up the colours of the mug. Together they make a cheerful Christmas gift, ready to unwrap and use straight away, and a bright pair for a desk, a kitchen counter or the coffee table through December. With 250ml to fill, the mug suits a standard cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate rather than an oversized brew.

The mug is glazed porcelain with a smooth, glossy finish, and the coaster sits flat beneath it to keep rings off wooden tables and worktops. For care, we suggest washing the mug by hand in warm soapy water and wiping the coaster with a damp cloth, drying both before they go back on the shelf. Set the mug on its coaster beside the advent calendar, or wrap the pair with a bag of marshmallows for an easy, festive gift.
