Description

The Tournai is a 191mm outdoor chain pendant in aged bronze with seeded glass panels set in a hand-cast aluminium frame. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the lantern-style enclosure, with light diffused through four clear seeded glass panels that show intentional texture and air bubbles characteristic of period glasswork. The frame is suspended on a 1000mm chain, adjustable from 450mm to 1400mm drop on installation.

Designed for covered porches, verandas and entrance canopies with at least 450mm ceiling clearance, the IP44 rating protects against rain and moisture ingress from any angle. The pendant sits comfortably over doorways, porch seating areas or as accent lighting either side of a garage entrance. The chain conceals the cable run and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose or outdoor junction box rated for weather exposure.

The hand-cast aluminium construction gives the frame a textural surface with visible casting marks and tonal variation that reads as authentic period metalwork rather than smooth modern finishing. The bronze patina sits across browns and darker copper tones depending on viewing angle and light conditions. The four seeded glass panels are each individually set into the frame behind decorative muntins that divide the glass into Gothic-arch sections, with the glass itself showing the seed texture and tiny bubbles associated with hand-blown or traditionally cast glass.

The upper canopy features cast detailing including fluted ridges and scroll brackets, with a matching finial drop beneath the lantern body.
