Description

Our Toucan printed rug brings a tropical scene to the floor: broad palm fronds, spiky leaves and bright toucans perched among the foliage, with sprigs of orange and lilac flowers between them. The Blush colourway sets deep teal, blue and fresh green leaves against a soft pink ground, with pale blue washes of sky behind. The design is digitally printed, so every leaf and feather is drawn in fine detail right across the rug, and the rug itself is 100% polyester.

It sits happily in a living room, laid in front of a sofa where the whole pattern can be seen, and a larger size can just as easily go under a bed. We sell it in a 61 by 230cm runner, which suits a hallway or a landing, and in a 76 by 150cm size for beside a bed or in front of a fireplace. The 120 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm sizes sit well under a coffee table, and the 185 by 290cm rug is big enough to take in a full seating area.

Because it is washable, spilt drinks, dropped crumbs and muddy paws need not rule out a soft pink rug in a room that sees daily use, which settles the question for many busy households and pet owners. Before choosing a size, measure the floor and mark the outline with masking tape or sheets of newspaper, leaving a margin of bare floor around the edges, so you can judge which size sits best with your furniture.
