Toucan Leaf Washable Rug - Antique

Our Toucan rug brings a lush tropical scene to the floor. Toucans perch among palm fronds, fan palms and broad leaves on a soft cream ground, in deep and fresh greens with touches of coral, ochre, dusty blue and dark plum. The design repeats across the whole rug, so the jungle runs edge to edge rather than gathering in a central motif. It is digitally printed on 100% polyester, which gives fine, clean detail right down to the feathers on each bird and the veins of the leaves.

It sits happily in a living room, laid beside a sofa or under a coffee table, where the cream base keeps a busy print feeling bright. We sell it in 76 by 150cm, a size that suits the side of a bed or a reading corner, and as a 61 by 230cm runner for a hallway or the length of a kitchen. The 120 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm sizes fit neatly in front of a sofa, while the 185 by 290cm rug is large enough to sit under a double bed or anchor a whole seating area.

It is washable, which settles the question for busy family rooms, kitchens and hallways where spills and muddy feet are part of daily life. Measure your floor and furniture before choosing a size, leaving a little bare floor around the edges so the toucans and palms have room to breathe.
