Description

The Torino is a 2 light crystal wall light with an integrated pull-cord switch, built on a French gold-finished metal frame with scrolled arms and decorated with Asfour crystal droplets, crystal beads and precision-cut maple leaf accents. Each arm holds a candle-style E14 bulb fitting topped with a faceted crystal drip pan, with larger teardrop crystals and octagonal crystal beads suspended below the frame on brass-plated chains.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where wall-mounted lighting needs to be controlled independently of a wall switch, the integrated pull cord allows the light to be operated without reaching behind furniture or walking to a doorway switch. The 220mm projection from the wall positions the light forward of most skirting boards and dado rails, while the 400mm width suits alcoves, chimney breasts and walls either side of a bed headboard.

The French gold finish on the metal frame is a warm, mid-tone brass with a slight satin texture that reduces glare under direct light. The Asfour crystal is machine-cut Egyptian lead-free crystal with defined facet edges that throw prismatic light patterns onto adjacent walls when lit. The Torino takes two E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a warm glow that complements the gold finish.

Is the Torino dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and connect the wall light to a compatible dimmer switch on the wall circuit. The integrated pull cord acts as an on/off switch only and does not control dimming.

How is the pull-cord switch operated?

A brass-plated chain hangs from the base of the fitting with a small finial on the end. Pulling the chain once turns the light on; pulling again turns it off. The chain length can be adjusted during installation if needed.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the light and allow bulbs to cool fully. Remove dust with a dry microfibre cloth or a soft brush. For more thorough cleaning, individual crystal pieces can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, then dried immediately to avoid water marks. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the fitting.
