Description

The Tone is a 29.7cm pendant light combining a bronze metal fitting with an amber-tinted blown glass half-dome shade, suspended on a twisted textile-braided cable. The single E27 bulb fitting inside the dome casts warm light through the amber glass, diffusing it across the lower half of the room while the metal canopy and upper finial reflect a softer, warmer tone back up towards the ceiling.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, and bedside positions where a single pendant provides focused light without the need for a cluster or multi-head arrangement, the Tone pairs well with traditional, mid-century and industrial interiors. The adjustable drop ranges from 40cm to 150cm, allowing the pendant to be set 60-80cm above a worktop or 70-90cm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor spaces.

The amber glass is hand-blown with subtle tonal variation and small bubbles characteristic of the process, giving each shade a slightly different appearance when lit. The bronze finish on the metal components has a warm, aged appearance that pairs comfortably with brass, copper and darker wood tones without the high reflectivity of polished metals. The braided textile cable runs through the centre of the upper finial section, adding visual texture and concealing the electrical run between the canopy and the shade.
