The clear coat wood finish keeps the grain visible and true, so the table reads as natural rather than glossy or heavy. We chose to range it because that soft, matt warmth works across so many settings, from a pared-back flat to a busier family sitting room.

This is the Tall version of the design, a small square table built on solid oak legs with gently rounded corners that soften its footprint. The top measures 60 by 60cm across a veneered surface finished with solid oak lipping, so the edges wear well and hold up to daily use. Below sits a woven venetian cane tier, useful for books, a folded throw or a tray, and a natural counterpoint to the smoothness of the oak above. The legs attach with threaded rods, and the whole piece weighs 9.2kg, so it stays steady without feeling awkward to move when you want to clean underneath.
