Description
This glossy ceramic flower vase stacks three capybaras one on top of another, from a big one at the base to a little one at the top, each with a rounded body, small ears and short, sturdy legs. The brown glaze shows off their soft shapes, finished with rosy pink cheeks, darker brown noses and feet, and a small round orange topper perched on the heads of the top and bottom capybaras. It stands 24.5cm tall, 20.5cm wide and 9.5cm deep, so it fits neatly on a narrow shelf or windowsill without crowding it.
We like it on a bedside table, a desk, a bookshelf or a windowsill, anywhere a little character is welcome. Slip a couple of stems into the opening in the top capybara's back and the flowers rise from the little one like a small bouquet; a rose or two, or a short posy, suits its scale. Left empty, it works just as well as an ornament in its own right, and with the faces turned in different directions it looks cheerful from most angles. Its warm brown tones sit comfortably with natural wood, cream walls and soft neutral colours.
The vase is ceramic with a smooth, glossy glaze, and it stands on the bottom capybara's four short feet, so it needs no wall or stand to show it off. For everyday care, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it over with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Ceramic can chip if it is knocked, so give it a spot set back from the edge of a shelf. It makes a light-hearted gift that needs little explaining, and it is just as easy to keep for yourself as a small, smiling touch at home.

Frequently Asked
How big is the capybara stack vase?
It stands 24.5cm tall, 20.5cm wide and 9.5cm deep, a comfortable size for a shelf, desk, bedside table or windowsill.
What is the vase made of?
The vase is ceramic with a smooth, glossy brown glaze, picked out with pink cheeks, darker brown noses and feet, and small orange toppers.
Where do the stems go?
The opening is in the back of the top capybara, so a couple of stems rise from the smallest of the three like a little bouquet.
Can I display it without flowers?
Yes, the three stacked capybaras make a cheerful ornament on their own, and the piece stands on the bottom capybara's four short feet with no stand needed.
How do I look after the vase?
Dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Keep it back from shelf edges, as ceramic can chip if knocked.
Does it make a good gift?
We think so. It is a light-hearted gift with plenty of character, and the three little faces with their rosy cheeks bring a smile wherever it sits.
