Description

The Sixth Sense is an 18cm opal white glass sphere pendant light suspended on a black metal rod with an integrated 7W 3000K LED. The glass sphere sits between two brushed brass collars on a slender black vertical rod, with the adjustable cable concealed within the rod itself. The opal glass diffuses the LED into a soft, even glow without visible hotspots or filament shadows.

Designed for over kitchen islands, dining tables, hallways and side-of-bed positions, the pendant works as a single fitting or grouped in multiples along a linear run. The adjustable drop ranges from 63cm minimum to 351cm maximum, allowing the sphere to be positioned anywhere from 600mm above a worktop in a low-ceiling kitchen to hung at full extension in a double-height entrance hall. The black ceiling canopy conceals the adjustment mechanism and fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The metal rod and collars are powder-coated in matt black with a low-sheen finish that sits quietly against both white and dark ceilings. The brass collars at the top and bottom of the sphere add a warm metallic accent and visually separate the glass from the rod, preventing the sphere from appearing to float without context. At 7W output and 3000K colour temperature, the LED provides warm ambient light rather than task light, and the IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior locations only.

Can multiple pendants be installed on a single ceiling point?

Each pendant requires its own ceiling point and power supply. For linear runs over a kitchen island or dining table, pendants are typically spaced 600-800mm apart on individual ceiling roses wired to the same switch circuit.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior locations only. It cannot be installed within bathroom zones or other locations where moisture or direct water contact is present.
