Description
The Sixth Sense is an 18cm diameter pendant light with a white opal glass globe held between brass pins on a slender brass stem, housing an integrated 7W 3000K LED. The brass canopy conceals the height-adjustment mechanism, which allows the pendant to be set anywhere from 63cm to 351cm depending on ceiling height and fitting position.
Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables, or in entrance halls where a single focal point is needed, the pendant delivers ambient rather than task lighting. The white opal glass diffuses the LED into a soft glow that fills the globe without harsh shadows or bright spots. Multiple pendants can be arranged in a row above longer surfaces, with typical spacing of 80-100cm between units when hung at the same height.
The brass stem and decorative pins that grip the globe top and bottom give the pendant a vertical symmetry that reads clearly from below. The finish is polished brass rather than brushed or satin, so it reflects surrounding light and picks up tones from nearby surfaces. The white glass globe is 18cm in diameter, matching the overall width of the brass canopy, creating a balanced proportion when the pendant is hung at standard heights of 70-80cm above a table surface.
The integrated LED is rated at 7W with a warm 3000K colour temperature, which pairs well with brass and warm-toned interiors. The IP20 rating makes this suitable for dry indoor use only — not bathrooms or outdoor installations. The pendant weighs approximately 1.2kg when assembled, and the brass stem is factory-sealed to protect against tarnishing under typical indoor conditions.

Frequently Asked
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The 7W LED is integrated into the pendant structure and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which translates to around 10-15 years under typical residential use patterns.
What height should it be hung above a dining table?
Most installations position the globe 70-80cm above the table surface. This provides enough clearance for seated diners while keeping the light source low enough to create a focused pool of ambient light on the table. The height-adjustment mechanism allows precise setting during installation.
Can multiple pendants be installed in a row?
Yes. When fitting multiple Sixth Sense pendants above a kitchen island or long dining table, typical spacing is 80-100cm between each pendant when hung at the same height. For a 2m island, two pendants work well; for a 2.4-3m table, three pendants provide balanced coverage.
How is the brass finish maintained?
The polished brass is factory-sealed to slow tarnishing. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid brass polish or abrasive cleaners, which can strip the protective coating. If tarnishing occurs over time, this is a natural characteristic of brass and some users prefer the aged patina.
