Description
Built from solid oak with a comfortable padded top, our Reader Black Oak Ottoman in Cognac pairs natural materials with a soft upholstered finish. The frame combines solid oak with laminated veneer, while the top uses MDF and PUR beneath its covering, giving us a piece that feels sturdy yet light at just 4.2kg. The Black Oak frame carries a deep, dark grain that grounds the warm Cognac upholstery above it, and the open construction keeps the whole thing feeling airy rather than bulky.
At 60cm wide, 46cm deep and 42cm tall, this ottoman slots neatly into the spaces where a low seat or a resting spot comes in handy. We like it at the end of a bed, tucked beside an armchair, or pulled up near a sofa when you need somewhere to perch. The shaped padded top makes it a genuine place to sit, while the modest footprint means it does not crowd a room. You can leave it out permanently or move it around as the day demands, and its light weight makes that easy. It also works well as a landing spot for a folded throw or a stack of books when you are not using it as a seat.
We keep assembly straightforward, so you should have the Reader together in around 15 minutes, and there is an assembly video to follow along if you would rather watch than read. Because this is a single specification.
