The Teja bar stool is a high outdoor chair with arms, built on a slim frame of extruded aluminium with a polyester powder coating. Its back and arms are wrapped in wide bands of hand-woven marine rope, polyester thread over a nylon core, and it comes with seat and back cushions made in the outdoor fabric you choose. It stands 58cm wide, 54cm deep and 105cm high, with a seat height of 78cm and arms at 96cm, so it is a stool for a bar counter rather than a dining table.

It belongs at an outdoor bar or kitchen counter on a terrace, a patio or beside a pool, where a few in a row turn a counter into the place everyone gathers for a drink in the evening sun. We offer it in fifteen powder-coated frame colours, such as Textured White, Textured Ivory and Stone, two rope colours, Grey Taupe and Terra Brown, and forty-six outdoor fabrics for the cushions, among them Pan White, Wabi Ecru and Pan Bone, so you can match it to your paving, your planting or the other furniture on your terrace. The fabrics are acrylic, polyolefin and Vinytex, all made for outdoor use.

The Teja bar stool was designed by La Mamba Studio and is made to order in Barcelona, Spain. It is made for outdoor use and resists weathering and sunlight. The cushions are filled with polyether fibre and foam and lift off, so you can store them when the stool is not in use. The frame needs only a regular wash with warm water and neutral soap, then a rinse and a dry to avoid water marks; the fabrics clean with a damp sponge and a little neutral soap, never harsh chemicals.

How do I clean the frame and cushions?

Wash the frame regularly with warm water, neutral soap and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth, then rinse it well and dry it to avoid water marks. For the fabrics, use a damp sponge with a little neutral soap in plenty of water, a soft brush for a stubborn stain and never harsh chemicals. The acrylic fabrics wash at 30°C, and the polyolefin fabrics are best brushed or vacuumed to lift dust.

Does the Teja bar stool come with a guarantee?

It carries the maker's guarantee against manufacturing defects: five years for domestic use and two years for commercial use. Cushions, covers and fabrics are not covered.

How long will it take to arrive?

It is made to order for you, so allow about 5 to 6 weeks: about 4 weeks to make it and about a week and a half in transit.
