Description

Our Teja side table is a round garden table, 45cm across and 40cm high, made to sit beside a lounge chair or sofa with room for a drink or a book. Its frame is extruded aluminium finished in a polyester powder coating, with four straight legs rising to a rounded rim that holds the top. At 40cm high it sits low, so it pairs with lounge seating rather than dining chairs.

It is made for outdoor use and resists weathering and sunlight, so it is at home on a terrace, patio, balcony or poolside. At 45cm across it needs little floor space, handy on a small balcony. We sell it with eight top choices, among them White HPL Compact, Painted Aluminium in the frame's colour and Iroko, and in fifteen powder-coated frame colours such as Textured White, Textured Ivory and Stone. Each table is designed and made to order in Barcelona, Spain.

Care follows the top. Clean the powder-coated aluminium regularly with warm water, neutral soap and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth, then rinse well and dry it to avoid water marks. Iroko may change colour or develop small cracks with humidity and sudden changes of temperature, and it turns silver-grey over time; the maker recommends a waterproof sealant twice a year if you prefer its warmer tone. HPL Compact needs only a damp cloth with warm water or a mild detergent, and Dekton wants neutral soap on a damp microfibre sponge in a circular motion, then a wipe and dry. The design is by La Mamba Studio, and the maker's guarantee covers manufacturing defects for five years for domestic use and two years for commercial use, though cushions, covers and fabrics are not covered. For the least upkeep, choose a painted aluminium, HPL Compact or Dekton top.
