Description

Our Teardrop Petals 3D wall panels carry a pattern of raised teardrops, each with a rounded head and a curved tail that tapers to a point. Four of them sweep out from the centre of the panel like petals, their tips meeting in the middle, while a pair fans out from each of two opposite corners, the top left and the bottom right, leaving the other two corners plain. The relief is 20mm deep, and its rounded edges give soft shadows rather than hard lines. Each panel is white PVC, a 50cm square.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops, and they suit a feature wall behind a bed, a sofa or a reception desk. The corner pairs are set to meet those on neighbouring panels, so across a covered wall the petal clusters repeat on a diagonal grid. Light falling across the wall from one side picks out each curve, so the pattern reads most clearly near a window or under a wall light, and more quietly in flat, even light. When working out how many a wall needs, four panels cover one square metre.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet. To fit one, spread adhesive over the back and press it onto the wall; panels can be cut to fit at the edges, and the joins are filled with filler and wiped clean, with no special equipment needed. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. PVC is waterproof and low maintenance, so a wipe with a damp cloth is all the relief asks for. For styling, we like these teardrops behind plain furniture and soft textiles in natural tones, where the curves give the room its pattern and the rest can stay simple.

Frequently Asked

What does the Teardrop Petals pattern look like?

Raised teardrops with rounded heads and tapering tails: four meet tip to tip at the centre like petals, and pairs fan out from two opposite corners, so the clusters repeat diagonally across a wall.

How big is each panel and how much wall does it cover?

Each panel is a 50 x 50cm square, and four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many your wall needs.

How are the panels fixed to the wall?

Spread adhesive over the back of each panel and press it onto the wall, cut panels to fit at the edges, then fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean. You need no special equipment.

Do I need to buy anything else to fit them?

Yes, you will need adhesive to fix the panels and filler for the joins. Neither comes with the panels, so buy both before you start.

Where can I put these panels?

They are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops, and work well as a feature wall in a living room, bedroom, hallway or reception area.

How do I clean the panels?

The PVC is low maintenance: wipe the surface with a damp cloth, taking it into the curves of each teardrop to lift dust from the relief.
