Description
The Tarifa III is an adjustable LED reading light with a 60mm x 180mm rectangular backplate in antique brass, a slim tubular arm housing a 3W integrated LED, and a built-in USB-C charging port. The arm rotates on a brass-bushed pivot allowing the 210lm 3000K light to be directed onto a book, a bedside table, or angled up onto a wall as wash light. A small rocker switch on the face of the backplate controls the LED without requiring a separate wall switch.
Designed for bedside installation, reading corners next to armchairs, and study desks where a fixed ceiling light cannot reach, the Tarifa III provides directed task light without occupying floor or surface space. The 115mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of a pillow line when mounted as a bedhead light, and the adjustable arm means two Tarifa III fittings can be installed either side of a bed without interfering with each other's light cones. The USB-C port accepts standard USB-C charging cables, allowing a phone or tablet to charge directly from the wall light overnight.
The antique brass finish shows a darker, warmer tone than polished or brushed brass, with subtle tonal variation across the surface that gives depth under different light conditions. The finish pairs comfortably with mid-century furniture, industrial interiors using exposed brick or steel, and traditional settings where warmer metallics are preferred over chrome. The 3W LED output at 210lm is calibrated for reading distance (30-60cm from the book or screen) rather than ambient room lighting, and the 3000K colour temperature delivers a warm white tone that reduces blue light compared to daylight-temperature LEDs.

Frequently Asked
Is the Tarifa III dimmable?
No. The integrated 3W LED is controlled by the rocker switch on the backplate, which provides on/off operation only. There is no dimming function.
What wattage does the USB-C port provide?
The USB-C port is designed for overnight phone and tablet charging. Exact wattage output is not listed in the specification, but it handles standard USB-C charging cables for most mobile devices.
Can the arm be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The tubular arm rotates on a pivot joint at the backplate, allowing the light direction to be adjusted as needed. The joint holds the arm in position once set.
What height should it be mounted for bedside reading?
For reading in bed, the backplate is typically mounted 600-800mm above the mattress surface, which positions the light source at approximately shoulder height when sitting upright. This allows the arm to be angled down onto a book without glare in the eyes.
