Description

The Tara is a 2 light crystal table lamp built on a black chrome metal frame with two curved arms extending from a rectangular base, each fitted with an E14 candle socket surrounded by cut crystal droplets and beads. The metal frame supports a central spire of clear acrylic crystal and decorative crystal bobeches beneath each shade position, with larger faceted crystal pendants hanging from the arms.

Designed for side tables, console tables and bedroom dressers where decorative accent lighting is needed, the Tara sits 290mm tall and 340mm wide across the arms. The black chrome finish provides contrast against the clear crystal components, which refract and reflect light from the two E14 bulbs (sold separately). An inline dimmer on the cable allows brightness adjustment without touching the lamp itself, useful for bedside positioning or evening ambience control.

The lamp arrives without shades fitted to the E14 sockets, giving flexibility to add clip-on shades in fabric, metal or left bare for exposed filament bulbs. The image shows the lamp fitted with two black wire-frame shades with crystal droplet trim — these shades are available separately. The 2kg weight and rectangular base footprint of 100mm x 340mm keep the lamp stable on most flat surfaces. The black chrome finish is a dark gunmetal tone rather than pure black, visible as a slight metallic sheen under direct light.

Are the shades included?

No. The Tara is sold without shades fitted to the E14 sockets. The black wire-frame shades with crystal trim shown in the image are available separately. Any clip-on E14 shade will fit, or the lamp can be used with exposed filament bulbs for a bare-bulb aesthetic.

What bulbs does it take?

The lamp takes two E14 small Edison screw bulbs (also called SES or candle bulbs) up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for traditional-style lighting, or vintage-style filament bulbs for exposed decoration.

How does the inline dimmer work?

The cable includes a rotary dimmer switch approximately 1m from the lamp base. Turn the dial clockwise to increase brightness, anticlockwise to dim. The dimmer works with dimmable LED and halogen E14 bulbs — check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

Can it be cleaned without removing the crystals?

Yes. Dust the crystal droplets and metal frame with a soft dry cloth or microfibre duster. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid spraying liquids directly onto the crystals or metal. The crystals are threaded onto wire loops and can be removed for individual cleaning if needed.
